The New Version of Spirit of the Sparrow Feel the Traditional Impression of Yunnan
In this performance, the Information Office of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government also brought artist Yang Liping's original dance "Spirit of the Sparrow" and the original ecological song and dance "Plateau Woman".
Spirit of the Sparrow
"Where are you dancing the lonely figure in the month, the feather falling from the cloud head, where are you dancing the dancing skirt spinning on the rainbow, the dream omen in your heart"
The Dai people call the peacock, which symbolizes love, the sunbird, and the peacock is the totem they worship. The Spirit of the Sparrow is an original dance work by the famous dance artist Yang Liping, with a beautiful and ethereal style. Yang Liping created a series of dance language to express the shape of the peacock, and "The Spirit of the Sparrow" reposes her yearning for a holy and quiet world.
Yang Dance is a lover of Yang Liping. She has been on the stage of Yunnan Image for ten years. Yang Liping was full of confidence in the strength of his lover's performance of "Spirit of the Bird" and "Women on the Plateau": "The peacock dance will not change due to dancers. I will dance it or the new generation of actors will dance it. This tradition of finding one's own imprint in the ancestral imprint will never change."
Yang Wu said frankly that her interpretation of "Spirit of the Sparrow" is also different from Yang Liping: "I am expressing my own things, it is like a family relationship that I cannot give up."
The Highland Woman
"Plateau Woman" is a folk song written by Yunnan folk song writer Jiang Mingzuo. It was later adapted into a dance by a famous dance artist and performed in the large-scale original ecological song and dance "Yunnan Image. The lyrics are just a few simple words in Yunnan dialect, but they incisively describe a woman's hardships and loftiness. Many people see it as a hymn to their mothers.
"Does the sun rest?/does the moon rest?/does the woman rest?/does the woman rest? does the fireplace go out?/does the cold wind blow the old man's head/does the woman take her back to the crack of the door and stick to the doll's foot/does the woman take her heart and liver to the mountain road and pad it/is there a woman on it/is there a pile of old and young the woman is on it/the man will carry it when the mountain falls down......"
This is a very vivid portrayal of rural women of all ethnic groups in Yunnan. Although plateau women live in the folds of the mountains, their spirit of conforming to nature and being optimistic and open-minded is not comparable to that of ordinary city people. Their happiness does not depend on whether they are rich or not. This is a transcendence of poverty and makes modern people envy.
Magic Show Through the Past and Present of Shangri-La
The magic "Shangri-La-past lives" originated from the performance of the magic master Liu Qian's Lantern Festival party.
The theme of this performance runs through the story of Shangri-La through time and space. Magician Monzefan will lead the audience to experience the unique charm of Shangri-La.
Sna Dingzhu: Forty Years of Dreams Fulformed for One Thousand Years
When it comes to Snadin, people are talking about a legend. He used nearly 40 years of hard work to turn the dream of the Barra people for nearly a thousand years into reality-to break through the cliffs of his hometown, build asphalt roads, and unveil the mystery of the Barragzong Grand Canyon to the world. He used his actions to tell the world that every great cause must come from a dream, and light and hope always come to those who put courage and action into their dreams and believe that their dreams will come true.
Sinadingzhu was born in Barra Village, a remote village in Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, China. It is hidden deep in the magnificent Balagzong Grand Canyon. For thousands of years, it has only been connected to the outside world by a thin, gosseous path. It takes four days and nights to travel from the village to Shangri-La city. In the memory of the elderly in Bala Village, every winter in the past was particularly difficult. The villagers had to walk through the thick snow to borrow food from the village to maintain the livelihood of the whole family.
At the beginning of 2008, the 6.5-meter-wide and 38-kilometer-long asphalt road across the Balagzon Grand Canyon was finally completed. Barra Village ushered in a historic moment: the road was connected, the high voltage was connected, and the telephone was connected! The villagers dreamlike to find that the four days and nights from Bala Village to the county seat were shortened to one and a half hours.
Today, the once isolated Grand Canyon has been created as Shangri-La's second national park, Balagzon National Park. The villagers of Bala Village, on the other hand, embarked on the road to common wealth under the leadership of Sna Dinzhu.
In the Shangri-La that everyone yearns for, especially in the depths of the fairyland Balagzong Grand Canyon, there are always people who say to their children: "Do you have a dream? Look at Snadingzhu."
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Tibet on August 7, 2022, a large number of tourists from Tibet to Yunnan have entered Shangri-La from National Highway 214. The People's Government of Diqing Prefecture has issued a series of relevant policies and measures and actively responded. Medical staff, police and other front-line personnel stick to the front line, have been involved in the "war of resistance" of the epidemic without gunpowder smoke, and jointly participate in dealing with a major public health security incident faced by mankind.
